グレースシティとの協力のもと、また新しい会場を用いて、メトロ・ボルチモア神学校（MBS）は新たに東京コホートの授業を開始しました。MBS は、アメリカ長老教会（PCA）のチャペルゲート教会に属する認定神学校であり、奉仕を続けながら神学教育を深めたい男性と女性のために、フルの学位である牧会学修士（M.Div.）課程を提供しています。修了生の多くが、PCA のティーチングエルダーとして按手を受けるなど、さまざまな形で教会の働きに仕えています。

この新しい働きにグレースシティ教会が加えられたことを心から感謝しています。日本が人口減少や牧師の高齢化という課題に直面する中で、この取り組みは将来の福音的リーダーを養成し増やしていくための希望ある一歩です。小さな始まりではありますが、これが東京と日本における神の大きなご計画の一部であると信じています。学生、講師、そしてこの新しい章を通して神がなされるすべてのことのために、どうぞお祈りください。

In partnership with our church and using our new space, Metro Baltimore Seminary (MBS) has just begun sessions for a brand new Tokyo Cohort. MBS is an accredited seminary connected with Chapelgate Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). It offers a full Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, designed for men and women who are serving in ministry while continuing their theological education. Graduates of MBS are serving in various ministry capacities, including being ordained as Teaching Elders in the PCA.

We’re truly thankful that God has led Grace City Church to be part of this new work. In a season when Japan is facing population decline and an aging generation of pastors, this program represents a hopeful step toward training and multiplying future gospel leaders. Even though this is a small beginning, we believe it’s part of God’s much bigger story for Tokyo and Japan. Please pray with us for the students, the instructors, and for all that God will do through this new chapter.
