東京で生きるのは、楽しく刺激的ですが、時に忙しすぎて、人とのつながりや、自分の心を見つめる時間を失いがちです。私たちは、この都市のただ中で、「神の愛と希望が、日々の生活と心に届く場所」をつくりたいと願っています。ここは、完璧な人のための場所ではなく、癒しと回復を必要とする人たちが、共に歩むコミュニティ。イエス・キリストは、私たちの現実のただ中に来てくださり、共に歩み、癒し、希望を与えてくださいます。この教会が、あなたにとって安心できる場所、そして新しい歩みを始めるきっかけとなりますように！

Welcome to Grace City Church Tokyo!

Life in Tokyo can be exciting and full, yet at times too busy, too heavy, or too lonely. In the midst of this city, we long to be a place where God’s love and hope meet the real lives of real people. Grace City is not a place for perfect people, but a community of those who are being healed and walking together in grace. Jesus Christ meets us right where we are—to walk with us, to heal, and to bring hope. May this church be a place of rest and renewal for you, and a community where you can begin a new journey of grace.

小会議長、牧会チーム、宣教、コミュニティフォーメーション

広島生まれ、うどん県育ち。日本長老教会東京中会の教師。
これまで24年間にわたり、4つの教会とキリスト教学校で奉仕し、2023年よりグレースシティチャーチ東京の主任牧師として仕えている。
東京という都市のただ中で、聖書の福音を現代の人々の生活と心に結びつけることを願い、神学的な深さと人間的なあたたかさの両立を大切にしている。
「共に癒される教会」「弟子として歩む群れ」というビジョンを掲げ、人々が安心して福音を味わえる共同体づくりに力を注いでいる。
妻と息子の3人家族。これまで19回の引越を経験。
趣味は映画、自転車、コーヒータイム、散歩、旅行（これまで訪れた国は28ヶ国。目標は父親の48ヶ国！）。
特技・パッションは「人を元気づけて笑顔にすること」。
Born in Hiroshima and raised in Kagawa (“Udon Prefecture”), Daisuke is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Japan (Tokyo Presbytery).
Over the past 24 years, he has served in four different churches and a Christian school. Since 2023, he has been serving as the Lead Pastor of Grace City Church Tokyo.
In the heart of Tokyo, he seeks to connect the gospel of the Bible with the realities and longings of people’s everyday lives.
His ministry values both theological depth and genuine human warmth, aiming to nurture a community that is “being healed together and walking as disciples.”
He longs for Grace City to be a place where people can experience safety, grace, and renewal through the gospel.
He lives with his wife and their son.
Having moved 19 times so far, he enjoys exploring new places.
His hobbies include movies, cycling, coffee time, walks, and travel (he has visited 28 countries so far—his goal is to reach his father’s record of 48!).
His passion is to encourage people and bring joy to their hearts.

オルガニスト。コミュニティーアーツ東京のディレクター。グレースシティーチャーチ東京の「フェイス＆アート（信仰と芸術）」のディレクター。宣教師として活動する芸術家のグローバルネットワーク「The MAKE Collective」のディレクター。アメリカのジュリアード音楽院にてパイプオルガン演奏修士、コロンビア大学にてエンジニアリング応用物理学学士を取得。現在リフォームド神学校修士課程で学んでいる。五枚のアルバムをリリースし、コンクール受賞も多数。『恵みの味』（2024）、『美の香り』（2022）、『砕かれた葉』（2021）、『ピアノのピッピーと黒い波』（2020）。2005年に来日し、現在家族と共に東京の月島に在住。登山、マラソンが趣味で各国へ出かけている。www.rogerwlowther.com
Organist. Community Arts Tokyo Founder & Director. Director of Faith & Art at Grace City Church Tokyo. International Coordinator of The MAKE Collective, a global network of artists. Roger received his Master of Music in Organ Performance from The Juilliard School and Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Columbia University. James Wright is Grace City's elder responsible for men's ministry and visitor outreach on Sundays.

He lives in Chiba with his wife and 4 daughters and runs James Wright Design and Development Studios.

これまでにワーシップ・アートディレクターとしてグレースシティチャーチを含む3つの教会の設立にかかわる

趣味: 人を愛すること、サッカー、音楽、ウォータースポーツ
From the USA, born in New Hampshire, raised in Mississippi. Studied piano performance and collaborative piano at Belhaven University and University of Memphis graduate school of music. Helped start 3 churches as director of worship/arts, including Grace City. Mom to 4 boys. Loves people, music, soccer, and being active outdoors around water.

Joel Loewen

アメリカカンザス州出身。妻のElaineとはバイブルカレッジで出会う。
1986年からセンド国際宣教団の宣教師として来日し、5年後息子を授かる（息子は現在日本で就職）
これまでに横浜の教会の立ち上げ、立川の教会の手伝い、東日本大震災後は東北での教会開拓などに携わる。
日本の教会リーダーを励まし、支える事をパッションとしている（特にグレースシティチャーチ！！）
趣味: テニス　東久留米の自宅近くの銭湯に行ってお風呂に入ること
Joel hails from Kansas, met his wife Elaine in Bible college and came to Japan as missionaries with SEND International in 1986. Their son was born five years later and now lives and works in Japan. They started a church in Yokohama, assisted a church in Tachikawa and helped in a church plant in Tohoku after 3,11,11. Joel’s passion is to encourage and support Japanese church leaders, especially now at Grace City. He enjoys tennis and relaxes in the ofuros in Higashi Kurume, where they live.

フルタイムスタッフとしてコミュニティーアーツ東京の宣教チームとグレースシティチャーチ東京に参加。
趣味：音楽と映画
From the US, Zak first visited Japan at age 16, and after 2 more trips over the years, he made the move to Japan in 2024, joining the Community Arts Tokyo mission team and Grace City Church Tokyo staff full time.

He loves music and movies.

Kotaro hails from Matsuyama, Ehime prefecture. He has spent most of his life in Ehime, but in 2022, he moved up to Tokyo.
His hobbies include traveling and watching movies.

Born in New York, raised in Delaware, Andrew currently lives in Chiba with his wife, Megan, and five kids. They are part of the Community Arts Team. Andrew and Megan first met in a Japanese film class, and they both have a passion for missions.
Andrew's hobbies are various, but generally include interesting arts and exploring.
