信じていること | What We Believe

1. 私たちは世界とその中のすべてのものの父である創造の神を信じます。神は永遠に父、子、聖霊における三位一体の愛の神であり、霊的なものだけではなく物質的なものも含めてすべてのものを摂理的に支配し、被造物を通してご自身の真実、義、聖、善、美をあらわしておられます。（神、三位一体、創造、摂理）

   We believe in God the Father who created this world and everything in it. God is eternal and, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the triune God of love. In his providence, He reigns over everything, not only the spiritual reality but also the material reality. Through everything He created, He reveals His truth, justice, holiness, goodness, and beauty. (God, trinity, creation, providence)

2. 人は神との交わりのうちに生きるように神のかたちに創造され、この世界を神の御心のままに治めるよう使命を与えられましたが、罪を犯して神のもとから離れ、神ではないものを礼拝しています。しかし、神は堕落して失われた状態にある人間を愛し、善人にも悪人にも一般的に恵みを施されます。（人間、堕落、罪、恵み）

   Man was made in God's image and to live in fellowship with Him. Man was called to rule the world according to His will, but through sinning, man was separated from God, worshipping anything but God. However, God, in his love for fallen and lost people, poured out his common grace upon both those who are good and those who are bad. (man, the Fall, sin, grace)

3. キリストは神のひとり子、完全な神のかたちですが、完全な人間性を取り、人類の救い主となられました。イエス・キリストは、神の恵みの契約に基づき、十字架において身代わりの死を遂げ、人類の贖いを成し遂げてくださいました。そして 3 日目に死からよみがえり、天に昇り、父なる神の右の座に着き、すべてのものの王として今もとりなしていてくださいます。（キリスト、二性一人格、十字架の死、贖い、復活、とりなし）

   Christ is God's only Son. He is fully God who became fully man and mankind's savior. Based on God's covenant of grace, Jesus Christ died on the cross as a substitute and accomplished the redemption of mankind. On the third day, He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father to intercede even now as King over all.

4. 聖霊は神であられ、神がイエス・キリストにおいて成し遂げてくださった贖い、すなわち神の国の到来を告げる福音を通して信じる者に救いをもたらします。聖霊に導かれてキリストを信じて悔い改める者には、罪の赦しと永遠の命が与えられます。聖霊は福音のみことばを通して働き、人々には賜物を分け与えて、心の回復、共同体の刷新、神の国の到来をもたらします。（聖霊、福音、信仰、悔い改め、賜物）

   The Spirit, who is God, brings about the redemption God has accomplished in Jesus Christ—in other words, through saving those who believe the gospel proclaiming the coming of His Kingdom. Led by the Spirit, those who repent and believe in Christ are granted forgiveness of their sins and eternal life. The Spirit works through the Word of God, gives spiritual gifts to people, and brings about restoration of the heart, renewal of community, and the establishment of God's Kingdom. 5. 教会は神の恵みの契約に基づき、福音によって呼び集められた者たちからなる神の共同体であり、聖霊の賜物によって神とこの世界に仕えるキリストの体です。教会はこの世界が刷新されて神の国が実現するために、洗礼と聖晩餐を伴う礼拝、福音伝道、奉仕、みことばの教え、交わりを通してキリストの宣教大命令を果たします。（教会、キリストの体、宣教大命令）

   Based on God's covenant of grace, the church is the community of people who are called together through the Gospel. The church is the body of Christ, serving God and His world with the spiritual gifts it received. In order for this world to be renewed and God's Kingdom to be established, the church fulfills Christ's Great Commission by worship accompanied by the sacraments of baptism and communion, Gospel evangelism, serving, teaching of the Word, and fellowship. 6. キリストは栄光のうちに再臨し、すべてのものをさばき、神の国を完成させます。それゆえ私たちは、キリストの再臨と神の国の完成と肉体の復活を待ち望み、やがて来る御国の価値観において今の世を歩みます。（私たちの希望、キリストの再臨、肉体の復活、神のさばき、神の国の完成）

   Christ will return in glory to judge all and to bring to fullness God's Kingdom. Therefore, we look forward to the return of Christ, the fullness of God's Kingdom, and the bodily resurrection. We walk on this earth with the worldview of the Kingdom that will come shortly. (our hope, Christ's return, bodily resurrection, God's judgment, fullness of God's Kingdom)
